The Hornstein Program at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for the course OHRNS 237 Organizational Behavior in Jewish Nonprofits, 4 credits, offered in the Fall 2024 semester. This course integrates contemporary management theory and research, case studies and experiential assignments to provide understanding of individual and group behavior in Jewish nonprofit organizations. The purpose is to prepare Jewish professional leaders with frameworks, concepts, tools and skills needed to manage and lead nonprofit organizations effectively and to enhance the quality of employee work life.
The class is held virtually and asynchronously and begins on October 28, 2024 for 8 weeks.
Candidates with minimum qualifications of an MA or higher, and teaching and/or other commensurate professional field experience will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is August 5, 2024.
This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.
