Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
  • Excellent organizational, creative and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
  • A minimum of five years of clinical experience, including at least three years in a cardiac disease-specific specialty, is required.
  • Current Registered Nurse registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island is required.
  • Qualification in all basic and advanced cardiac support standards established by the American Heart Association is required.
  • The employee must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or obtain an approved medical or personal exemption.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Cardiac Catheterization and Advanced Heart Failure clinics across Southcoast Health.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, treatment, education, and longitudinal management of patients with advanced heart failure disease and coronary artery disease.
  • Facilitate patient workups, optimize guideline-directed medical therapy, and coordinate diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Work closely within the Heart and Vascular service line to ensure patient-centered care across the continuum.
  • Develop workflows and processes that enhance clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
