Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-8 years of experience in managing accounts receivable and payable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Stripe, Zendesk, Excel and other various programs/systems/software is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Manage all day-to-day operations of accounts receivable and payable
  • Oversee the accounts receivable cycle including invoicing, credit memos, and collections
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provision SaaS billing
  • Evaluate and manage credit limits for both existing and new customers and identify credit risk
  • Work with the AR team on credit/order holds and identify bad debt accounts for reserve requirements
  • Oversee the accounts payable cycle including expense reports, invoice verification, coding, data entry
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to resolve price and payment discrepancies
  • Process 1099 filings at year-end
  • Proactively maintain all customer and vendor accounts with proper documentation
  • Serve as primary owner, subject matter expert, and a liaison for AR/AP
  • Assist with month-end close including account reconciliation, analysis, and reporting
  • Work with Engineering and other departments to ensure accurate syncing to NetSuite
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the AR/AP team to perform their duties accurately and efficiently and aiding their development and growth
  • Develop, maintain, and streamline all AR/AP related standard operating procedures
  • Be a backup for AR/AP as needed
  • Help with quarterly and yearly audits
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members for continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned
