Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience (5 in public transit)
  • Experience in program and project leadership related to public transportation
  • Demonstrated significant and successful management experience on complex programs of increasing size and difficulty
  • Significant experience and success communicating orally and in writing with senior executives about complex and challenging public transit management, operations, and technical issues
  • Strong analytical and training skills and experience
  • Ability to identify risks in public transit management and operations, verify if requirements are complied with, and present solutions to any identified concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to locate root causes of issues, research multiple issues simultaneously, and to write comprehensive, accurate, and concise reports in a timely fashion, as well as give professional oral presentations
  • Capable of adapting to different environments and getting the most out of a team
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading Comprehensive Oversight Review, Special Assignment, Technical Assistance, and Corrective Action Support tasks
  • Authoring reports and technical memoranda
  • Reviewing deliverables for assigned tasks to ensure completion and accuracy
  • Developing program and training content in alignment with FTA policy and guidance
  • Participating in conference calls, meetings, and conferences, as needed
  • Attending and providing expertise during recipient workshops
  • Other responsibilities to ensure successful execution of all work assignments
