Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in the consumer goods industry with a strong QA and factory production background
  • Bachelor’s degree in textile technology or similar educational background (Bonus)
  • Extensive knowledge of fabric, testing, construction, and manufacturing
  • In-depth experience with quality assurance control in a high-volume production environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 rules and practices (Bonus)
  • Strong knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading a QA team locally and collaborating with QA teams overseas
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, experience overseeing testing labs, and ability to work with testing equipment and maintain accurate documentation records
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant reporting software platforms
  • Software solutions and/or database management experience (Bonus)
  • Proficiency in communicating effectively across diverse levels
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to upholding product quality
  • Ability to make informed, timely decisions
  • Curious mind and willingness to learn and grow imagination
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for continuous improvement in product quality assurance
  • Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent and high-quality process execution
  • Setting and monitoring quality control measures throughout Nugget production facility and warehouse
  • Defining acceptable Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) for different product types
  • Providing leadership, direction, and guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Supporting and participating in the implementation and continuous improvement of production systems
  • Designing, implementing, and documenting quality assurance programs
  • Investigating and addressing recurring customer quality complaints
  • Auditing vendors and second-party processes to ensure compliance
  • Selecting and managing vendors for factory audits and inspections
  • Assisting in scorecarding processes and setting criteria
  • Coordinating with supplier and production quality teams to ensure manufacturing processes are on schedule
  • Identifying and documenting potential issues and developing rectification plans
  • Collaborating with Receiving, Sourcing, and Production teams to address supply chain challenges
  • Analyzing internal costs associated with supplier quality issues
  • Initiating laboratory tests and analyzing results
  • Partnering with Product Development to ensure product safety and quality requirements are met
