Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience implementing quality assurance program requirements, such as project management, regulatory compliance monitoring, quality control, quality inspections, operations, or maintenance.
  • Training and experience in auditing to a recognized industry quality standard, such as ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data entry and web-based database applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and use of error prevention techniques.
  • United States citizenship and authorization to work in the United States are required.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a government vehicle are required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an L Department of Energy security clearance, if requested.
  • Ability to meet the physical capacity requirements determined by the Occupational Medical Provider.
  • Ability to wear company-provided personal protective equipment when required.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a radiological facility.
  • Willingness to work in the field as needed to support projects.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk across uneven terrain.
Responsibilities
  • Perform Issue Tracking System data management and reporting.
  • Perform assigned supplier evaluations in accordance with implementing procedures.
  • Perform and support assigned assessments in accordance with implementing procedures.
  • Perform receipt inspections in accordance with implementing procedures.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports as identified and track them to closure.
  • Perform assigned fact findings and causal analyses in accordance with implementing procedures.
  • Review work orders and purchase requisitions to ensure proper flow-down of quality assurance requirements.
  • Serve as the OPEX Program Coordinator in accordance with the implementing procedure.
  • Support infrastructure contract quality assurance requirements and maintain compliance with customer quality assurance requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, or a technical field.
  • Previous United States Department of Energy quality assurance experience and knowledge of DOE Order 414.1.
  • Previous ISO 9001:2015 experience.
  • NQA-1 Lead Auditor certification or another nationally recognized quality program auditing certification, such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer.
