Plenful automates pharmacy operations by offering a SaaS platform that connects with existing data sources like Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Pharmacy Management Systems (PMSs) to streamline workflows. Its system centralizes data and uses a mix of AI and rules-based logic, along with proprietary OCR, to automate manual tasks and reduce errors. The platform provides pre-configured workflows built from industry best practices and requires zero-code integration, making it easy to deploy within healthcare settings. Compared to generic automation tools, Plenful focuses specifically on healthcare and pharmacy operations, helping clients improve financial, operational, and care-related ROI through increased efficiency and data accuracy. The company’s goal is to lessen the burden on healthcare staff, optimize staffing, and offer clear transparency into operations.

Plenful, an AI workflow automation platform for pharmacy teams, has launched its MFP Intelligence solution to help health systems recover missing Medicare Maximum Fair Price refunds. Early deployments with major health systems including Henry Ford Health and St. Luke's Health System have identified up to 20% of expected refunds as missing. The solution addresses challenges arising from Medicare's MFP programme, which launched on 1 January 2026 under the Inflation Reduction Act's Drug Price Negotiation Program. It reconciles expected versus received refunds at claim level, identifies discrepancies, and streamlines the recovery process. The new capability expands Plenful's Regulatory Compliance and Revenue Optimization suite, which currently supports more than 95 health systems nationwide. The platform integrates claims data across pharmacy systems to provide visibility into reimbursement workflows.
