What you will get to do:

• Maintain grants tracker and populate with new and emerging prospects.
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and applications (including foundations, corporations, and government entities).
• Draft and submit grant reports to active funders as needed.
• Research databases and online resources for new grant opportunities.
• Build relationships with current and prospective funders.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.

What will make you successful:

• At least 2 years of experience in grant writing with a demonstrated record of excellence.
• Experience with budgets, financial management, and reporting systems for budget of $250,000+.
• Proficient in Word processing and spreadsheet software(i.e. Google Docs, MS Office).
• Strong research skills with the ability to identify relevant funding sources.
• Excellent written communication and storytelling abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Passion for arts education and youth development.
• Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
