- Ensure docking, undocking, and mooring process is completed safely
- Line handling in docking and undocking
- Control room operations for vessel loading
- Operate heavy equipment on vessel
- Barge loading and system setup for limestone
- Receive pellets into the port and record data
- Ensure safety of scale area and loads
- Keep scale and ramps clean
- Communicate with suppliers
- Collect samples and test finished goods
- Maintain QA/QC records
- Analyze equipment performance
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Operate mobile equipment
- Complete safety certification
- Communicate operational information
- Enter maintenance work requests
- Escalate issues for resolution
- Perform other duties as required
- Work in outdoor environments and varying temperatures
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling
- Work around moving equipment and machinery
- Pull and lift up to 50 lbs
