We are seeking highly motivated candidates for our GPU Software Development Engineer Internship program who will play an integral role in our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to ongoing projects and gain valuable exposure to the architecture and development of cutting-edge video subsystems and technologies within the industry. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Development and Tuning: Collaborate closely with our software team to participate in the development, fine-tuning, verification, and validation of video drivers and runtimes for both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Video Codec and Processing: Assist in the development and validation of video codecs, image, and video processing drivers and runtimes for active projects in pre or post production phases.
- Cross-Platform Support: Work alongside our software team to ensure the verification and validation of drivers and software stacks across multiple platforms and various OS configurations.
- Triage and Debugging: Play a pivotal role in identifying, triaging, and debugging various software issues to enhance the overall stability and performance of our products.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, EECS, or related STEM degree
3+ months of experience or knowledge in:
C/C++/Python
Computer Architecture
Data Structures
Windows/Linux Operating Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ months of experience or knowledge in: GPU, DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Video codec, Video processing, driver development, system software

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, California:$63,000.00-$166,000.00
Salaryrangedependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
