Job Summary

An HR Operations Administrator is a crucial role within HR departments, responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the HR function running smoothly.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Data Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems. This includes information on personal details, employment history, compensation, benefits, and performance.

• Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and benefits enrollment. Similarly, handling the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and final paperwork.

• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This includes maintaining accurate records, filing necessary reports, and staying up-to-date on legal changes.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining employee files, including employment contracts, performance reviews, and disciplinary records.

• Reporting: Generating HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
