Job Description
Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the design, development, and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges. Our products and capabilities are sought after by civilian and military organizations spanning numerous global markets, including Aviation, Communication, Electronic Warfare (EW/ECM/CIED), Industrial, Missile/UAV, Radar, Satcom, Space, and Test and Measurement. Teledyne Microwave Solutions is looking for a Test Technician for Swing Shift. This person will be responsible for but not limited to:
- A working understanding of the RF and DC testing that is completed in support of production.
- A working understanding of microwave measurements, RF amplifiers, automated testing, and manual testing of microwave products with limited supervision.
- A working understanding of reading and interpreting specifications in the production units. Assist in providing guidance and training to other test personnel on an as required basis.
- Execute RF tests per documented procedure and provide accurate data for the units.
- Communicating during the RF test stage with the supervisor or responsible technician of a product with out of tolerance RF measurements or other problems.
- An aptitude for identifying the common problems seen in the production hardware.
- Be able to clearly communicate and interact with the Quality personnel and the necessary production and manufacturing personnel to resolve production-related issues.
- Required to read and comprehend detailed instruction for each test being performed.
- A solid understanding of the RF and DC testing that is completed in support of production hardware. Some of the tests are gain, VSWR, 1 dB compression point, Sat power, 3rd OIP, noise figure, spurious, and harmonics.
- Must be able to make independent judgment and be detailed oriented and provide neat and orderly work and data. - Ensure company compliance in accordance with all company policy and procedures.
Requirements:
- The individual must dependable, reliable, a good team player, and willing to learn.
- Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) from two-year college or technical school preferred; or five years related experience in RF field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or military electronics experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as test procedures, operating instructions, and procedures.
- Candidate must have or be able to apply for a secret security clearance.
- US citizen.
Salary Range:
$35,090.00-$46,970.000
