Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience as an Intelligence Analyst or in a Cyber Operations role for the Department of Defense or the Intelligence Community.
  • An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information level clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Execute analysis and provide recommendations to senior leadership on Cyber Operations, Defensive Cyberspace Operations, Offensive Cyberspace Operations, managed attribution, and persona management.
  • Process cyber mission data and metrics, apply them to Department of Defense cyber mission parameters, and provide recommendations on tactics, techniques, procedures, technologies, policies, and courses of action to achieve mission-oriented objectives.
  • Assist with developing and assessing Measures of Performance and Measures of Effectiveness supporting Concept Plans and Operations Plans development.
  • Provide input for developing plans, orders, and related documents that enable the Cyber National Mission Force to conduct Cyber Operations and Information Operations to meet approved mission outcomes.
  • Participate in Joint Planning Groups and Operational Planning Groups or Teams.
  • Develop and integrate cyber capabilities into plans and operations.
  • Apply operational art and design to develop plans that achieve desired intermediate objectives and end states.
  • Develop orders, help orchestrate and support execution and assessments, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with cyber intelligence planners to establish intelligence requirements and understand and evaluate current and emerging threats shaping and affecting tasked mission areas of responsibility.
  • Facilitate command and control, employment, and support requirements for National Mission Teams, Combat Mission Teams, Combat Support Teams, Cyber Protect Teams, and other mission-tailored operational elements.
  • Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions from higher-echelon headquarters and make recommendations to establish effective guidance for plans and operations.
  • Develop and help integrate cyberspace capabilities into training and exercises as required.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
