Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or another relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Eight years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or material handling.
  • Three years of experience in people management.
  • Three years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and leading Inventory Management Systems.
  • Three years of experience with shipping terms, including Incoterms, hazardous material handling under Department of Transportation and International Air Transport Association standards, and warehouse operations.
  • Three years of experience managing cycle-count programs and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
  • Enable standardized warehouse management, including Enterprise Resource Planning and Inventory Management System data integrity, safety-stock parameter management, cycle counting, and annual physical audits.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Industrial Engineering, and Facilities teams to optimize warehouse layouts, scale physical capacity, and implement Vendor Managed Inventories.
  • Coordinate with equipment engineering and maintenance teams and track refurbishment, repair, and cleaning of spare parts and components through vendors.
  • Deploy Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce dock-to-stock cycle times.
  • Lead and mentor operations teams and foster a safety-first culture under Department of Transportation and International Air Transport Association standards.
  • Establish operational governance by authoring Standard Operating Procedures, codifying shift handoffs, and standardizing escalation paths.
  • Manage and execute daily domestic and international shipping operations, ensuring carrier service-level agreement compliance, export and import clearances under Incoterms, and Free Trade Zone protocols.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
  • Ten years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or material handling, including six years in a management role.
  • Experience with data analysis in quality, reliability, and manufacturing production.
  • Familiarity with Free Trade Zone operations or international customs processes.
  • A proven track record of managing inventory controls, including reorder points and safety stock, in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use Enterprise Resource Planning data to justify headcount, equipment, or space requirements as volume increases.
