Lead Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Lead Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to their Ormond Beach, Florida Headquarters

Job Summary:

As a Lead Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our cybersecurity efforts, ensuring the protection and integrity of our information systems. You will work with our outsourced SOC, manage security incidents, and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of security operations analysts, providing guidance and support.
• Incident Management: Oversee the identification, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.
• Threat Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Monitoring: Manage and enhance security monitoring tools and processes to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on security incidents, trends, and mitigation efforts to senior management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and business units to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization.

Competencies & Qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of security technologies, incident response, threat analysis, and risk management. Excellent communication and leadership skills.  Must have expert level knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 in a corporate setting.
