- Strong understanding of Active Directory, shared folder and Microsoft SharePoint permissions
- Experience with Varonis DataVantage and/or DataPrivilege tools is a plus
- Good Microsoft Office skills especially Excel (pivot data) and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret and understand Information Security data classification standards and definitions
- Interface with various business units to assure understanding of the unstructured data governance initiative and to gather information and recertify permissions
- Obtain an information asset inventory from business units and collaborate with the Access and Identity Management team to generate usage and permission reports and stage a permission recertification via automated systems
- Explain the details of the unstructured data project to business users and help them understand the initiative, and prepare presentations and run kick-off meetings independently with business users
- Serve as an interface between the business, project lead and technical teams within BlackRock, working as a team player
- Provide status reports, meet project deadlines promptly and escalate road-blocks and/or issues
- Run and interpret various permission reports using automated tools
- Experience with Varonis DataVantage and/or DataPrivilege tools is a plus
