Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability and willingness to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and contractors.
  • Eagerness to learn about the architecture, engineering, and construction industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project deliverables under the direction of an assigned mentor.
  • Assist with 3D modeling and design, conduct field investigations, perform red-to-black markup and review tasks, and produce discipline deliverables including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, interior and exterior elevations and sections, schedules, and installation details in conformance with VDC standards.
  • Work on a variety of architectural assignments, potentially across multiple projects simultaneously, and work closely with architectural staff to complete assignments accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop project documents, including calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications, for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
  • Assist with conceptual design development and coordinate with the design team under the direction of the project team lead.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and internal and external team members, including vendors, clients, and contractors.
Desired Qualifications
  • Interest in the food and beverage or life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D collaboration tools, including Navisworks, BIM 360 Suite, and Assemble.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in architecture or a related field.
