Requirements
  • 3 to 6 years in institutional fund diligence at an investment consultant, Limited Partner allocator, or fund-of-funds.
  • Deep fluency across fund document types including Due Diligence Questionnaires, Private Placement Memorandums, pitch decks, quarterly reports, capital call notices, side letters, and K-1s.
  • Multi-strategy exposure evaluating funds across at least three areas such as venture, growth equity, buyout, credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, or secondaries.
  • Strong analytical writing skills with the ability to articulate fund-level insights clearly and concisely in Investment Committee memos and diligence notes.
  • Pattern recognition for red flags such as missing attribution, irregular J-curves relative to vintage, non-standard terms, or General Partner narrative spinning.
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to articulate specific requirements for Artificial Intelligence capabilities to engineering teams.
Responsibilities
  • Review Artificial Intelligence generated fund reports against institutional-grade standards to identify gaps in analysis depth, accuracy, framing, and structure.
  • Audit document classification and extraction quality across all document types to ensure the Artificial Intelligence identifies correct fields and interprets terms accurately.
  • Improve scoring and benchmarking models by pressure-testing methodology, identifying blind spots, and proposing refinements based on Limited Partner evaluation standards.
  • Define quality standards by creating reference examples, style guides, and rubrics for Artificial Intelligence output.
  • Build the evaluation framework used by the engineering team to measure product improvement.
  • Translate Limited Partner workflows, including critical diligence questions and deal-killing red flags, into concrete product specifications.
  • Build fund intelligence content including anonymous Limited Partner intelligence channels, sentiment analysis, and structured reference frameworks.
  • Monitor market trends, fund terms, General Partner moves, strategy shifts, and regulatory changes to inform platform intelligence.
Desired Qualifications
  • Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, or equivalent credential.
  • Experience building or improving diligence templates, scoring frameworks, or Investment Committee memo formats.
  • Prior startup or product-adjacent experience.
  • Network within the Limited Partner or allocator community.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools, prompt engineering, or data-driven investment analysis.
