- At least 8 years of hands-on full stack experience in enterprise API and integration development, including ownership of complex mission-critical systems end-to-end.
- Strong hands-on expertise building APIs, microservices, and full stack applications across frontend, middleware, and backend using Azure .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, Blazor, Angular, or React, including publishing and managing APIs through Azure API Management with security policies, versioning, and payload and performance optimization.
- Proven front-end development experience with modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Blazor, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript or JavaScript, including responsive user-interface and user-experience design.
- Strong command of REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML integration patterns, API design, versioning, and lifecycle management best practices.
- Solid DevOps experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub, plus infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Azure data and integration services including Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills, including Azure SQL and T-SQL, with familiarity with data warehouse or lakehouse architecture and data pipeline development.
- Experience with messaging and event-driven platforms such as Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, or Kafka.
- Experience integrating and implementing enterprise systems, including MuleSoft, Oracle PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and data warehouse environments, with attention to UI/UX considerations.
- Solid understanding of application and API security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and secure coding practices.
- Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-enabled APIs.
- Ability to mentor junior and mid-level developers, lead architecture and design discussions, and drive engineering best practices across a team.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with onshore and offshore contributors, including providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Develop scalable C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core applications, REST APIs, and microservices using Azure cloud-native architecture and best practices.
- Build, deploy, and manage applications on Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps, Azure Static Web Apps, and Azure Logic Apps to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design, publish, secure, and manage APIs using Azure API Management, including authentication, policies, versioning, throttling, caching, monitoring, and API lifecycle management.
- Integrate Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL, and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, improve code quality, automate testing, and enhance developer productivity.
- Develop data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Deliver integrations across enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, eCommerce portals, PIM systems, and data warehouse or lakehouse environments.
- Support downstream reporting, analytics, and data warehouse platforms in consuming APIs and data services.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform, and GitHub across the integration and API codebase.
- Manage build, release, and environment configuration for .NET and Azure API Management deployments.
- Maintain observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting tools across the integration platform.
- Implement API security standards including OAuth2 and JWT across .NET and Azure API Management APIs.
- Provide L2/L3 production support by triaging and resolving integration issues.
- Collaboratively develop solutions with onshore and offshore developers, architects, and cross-functional technology teams, and own deliverables end-to-end.
- Share knowledge and contribute technical leadership and guidance across the team.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or a similar Azure certification.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI or similar large language model platforms in an integration context.
- Experience with event-driven architecture patterns at scale.
- Exposure to API governance frameworks and reusable integration design.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or packaging industries.

Berlin Packaging has acquired two bottle manufacturers this week: BlueSky in the UK and O Berk Co in the US. Headquartered on the east coast of England, family-owned BlueSky supplies glass, metal and plastic containers. According to Berlin Packaging's EMEA division, its purchase "represents a strategic step in expanding our presence and capabilities in the UK market". "By combining our highly responsive, consultative service with Berlin's global scale, sourcing strength and innovation capabilities, we will be able to offer our customers a broader range of packaging solutions, enhanced supply chain resilience and even greater support as they grow," said BlueSky MD Russell Wade. O Berk Co, meanwhile, is headquartered in New Jersey and has production sites in California, Connecticut and Maryland that supply glass, metal and plastic containers and closures for beverage companies - with previous clients including Maryland-based Seacrets Distilling Co. "We are proud to join forces with Berlin Packaging and excited for the opportunities this partnership creates," said O Berk's CEO, Marc Gaelen.
