- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with DevSecOps principles, including experience as part of an Agile or Extreme Programming development team.
- Experience managing and supporting Windows Server and Linux systems, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider among Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure, as well as hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience estimating and optimizing costs on cloud billing accounts.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team is required.
- The ability to quickly find creative solutions to difficult problems is required.
- Own the entire DevSecOps stack, including workflow, infrastructure, design, and operational processes for a team of developers.
- Maintain and improve existing continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows, infrastructure, and tools while ensuring operational continuity.
- Support and modernize infrastructure across Windows-based and Linux-based environments.
- Design, implement, and document GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using YAML and automation best practices.
- Collaborate across engineering, quality assurance, and information technology to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable deployment processes.
- Monitor systems for performance, stability, and security; resolve incidents and optimize reliability.
- Champion infrastructure-as-code practices and continuous improvement efforts.
- Help build internal documentation, reusable templates, and tooling for ongoing DevOps initiatives.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Direct experience with at least three Amazon Web Services services, such as EC2, EBS, Lambda, S3, EventBridge, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- At least 5 years of experience administering servers, backup operations, and systems monitoring in multiple complex network server environments.
- At least 2 years of experience administering the Atlassian suite in a cloud environment and understanding Jira user workflows for trouble tickets and project management.
- Experience with automation tools including PowerShell, AWS Lambda, and AWS CloudFormation.
- At least 2 years of experience working with identity and access management platforms, especially security policies, multi-factor authentication mechanisms, Department of Defense certificate exchange, and zero-trust design models.
- Ability to work full time at the customer location in a secure area on classified systems.
- Experience with at least one compiled language and compiler tools, such as .NET and MSBuild or C++ and GCC.
- GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery certification or hands-on GitLab Runner administration, including experience with self-hosted Git servers.
- Exposure to security and compliance controls in DevOps pipelines.
