  • RIBO license required; CIP or other industry designations are a strong asset
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a strong focus on the construction sector
  • Knowledge of construction insurance documents (CCDC) is an asset
  • Proven track record of managing complex client portfolios and delivering client-focused solutions
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire and influence
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach to client and team challenges
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of mid-market to complex clients, managing $750K–$1MM in revenue
  • Deliver exceptional service, addressing client needs, including quotes, premium adjustments, renewals, and claims
  • Negotiate with insurers and develop tailored risk management strategies for construction clients
  • Assist in pitching for RFPs and lead cross-selling efforts across other business lines, integrating solutions to meet diverse client needs
  • Be a mentor for account managers and other practice members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client focus
  • Actively identify and pursue new business development opportunities to expand the practice
  • Represent the practice at client and carrier meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a client-first approach in every interaction
