Requirements
  • Proven experience working with IBM TM1 (Planning Analytics) and Finance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, including a degree and postgraduate studies in a relevant area.
  • At least three years of experience in a systems-focused role.
  • Ability to learn and continuously develop technical and professional skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and collaborate with stakeholders across the University.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and identify ways to improve processes and systems.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of TM1 models, processes, rules, reports, and system enhancements.
  • Investigate and resolve financial data issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Contribute to system improvements that enhance reporting capability, efficiency, and data integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve user support requests relating to TM1.
  • Maintain and enhance TM1 processes, rules, dimensions, elements, and hierarchies.
  • Design and develop new TM1 models aligned with the strategic needs of the Finance team.
  • Engage with finance stakeholders to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and improved system functionality.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports and dashboards within TM1.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Practising Accountant or Chartered Accountant registration.
