Requirements
  • 10+ years proven ability in facilities, construction, safety and security along with 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Confirmed experience in the maintenance of building systems and components
  • Ability to think in an unexpected way and be creative bringing non-standard and innovative solutions to the table
  • Meet deadlines and make sound decisions, sometimes under a deadline
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a courteous manner, including being able to communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Effective team manager and mentor
  • Experience running large capital projects
  • General knowledge of OSHA/CAL OSHA safety laws
  • Ability to read and understand building design plans and engineering / system drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite
Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains a safe and effective environment, serving as liaison to building occupants, identifying and resolving current and potential maintenance problems
  • Supervises space allocations, moves, and facilities construction, modification and maintenance
  • Reviews and approves facilities related contracts and vendor qualifications.Is responsible for local Security Access System, CCTV, alarms, and associated monitoring vendors
  • Supervises, implements, conducts and trains staff in emergency evacuation and ensures compliance with building and fire regulations
  • Assists with the development of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Responds appropriately to emergency or urgent issues as they arise during and after hours (24/7)
  • Collaborate with TRI's executive team and provides high level updates on projects as well as solicit feedback / decisions as needed
  • Leads onsite team of building engineers and vendors
  • Guides, trains and educates staff on standard methodologies related to all service owner issues
  • Develops and effectively and efficiently handles the operations budget and expenditures
  • Engages in tenant improvement projects, often requiring getting in touch with support teams, and drives them from conception to completion
  • Acts as a partner concern point for all facilities-related issues
  • Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as generators, UPS, air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, or equivalent plan review software
  • Experience with Building Management System software
  • Experience with S2 security software
