Requirements
  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
  • Work experience in software development
  • Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, MATLAB, C/C++ and Simulink
  • Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi, Terraform)
  • Cloud Deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes)
  • DevOps Support (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment, and version control systems)
  • Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation development
Responsibilities
  • Closely work with Autonomy R&D engineers to develop software wrappers, APIs, databases and automation frameworks for integrating functional prototypes into lab environments and simulations.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker), optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
  • Manage and secure AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Support SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulations for validating aerospace autonomy functions.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, document workflows, and handle controlled information (CUI, export-controlled).
Desired Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience deploying resources in AWS (or a similar cloud provider).
  • Experience with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Strong proficiency in distributed systems, networking protocols, API design, and SQL database management.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka for event-driven architectures
  • Experience with simulation technologies · Familiarity with AI/ML, robotics, or autonomous systems.
  • Master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Key Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
  • Key Cybersecurity Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCNA.
