- A First Aid course certification is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, including oral care, toileting, bathing, incontinence care, and dressing, according to each resident’s needs.
- Provide supervision, cueing, or other non-weight-bearing assistance with transfers and ambulation according to each resident’s needs.
- Safely move carts, laundry hampers, and other equipment through work and resident areas.
- Communicate, coordinate, and cooperate regarding resident needs and team structure.
- Work as part of a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge.
- Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience.
