Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in an advertising and/or public relations agency
  • Background working with high profile brands that can be applied
  • Experience in client relations and the ability to adapt to different personalities and work styles
  • Proven work experience growing and managing a social community
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • Experience creating and managing social content calendars
  • Ability to perform light design work
  • Ability to identify and track relevant qualitative metrics
  • Excellent verbal communication and written skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Ability to write social captions across all current social media platforms
  • Location: New York, NY area or NY/NJ area with in-person participation required
  • Multi-cultural creative marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with ice cream brands preferred

Responsibilities
  • Develop social media content calendars and campaigns for well-known brands in the ice cream space
  • Work with in-house creative teams to create engaging video, copy and photography assets for social media channels
  • Design social assets using Canva, CapCut (design work is light)
  • Compile comprehensive analytical reports with recommendations for owned channels and campaigns
  • Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Liaise with the brand to stay updated on new products and features
  • Oversee high profile partnership logistics including strategy and execution
  • Increased knowledge on how to navigate controversial topics responsibly; knowledge of PR risks and opportunities associated with these stances
  • Apply SWOT analysis to initiatives
  • Interpret partnership briefs and legal documents as it relates to channel assets and usage
  • Counsel brand team on best practices and measurement of success across social
  • Work quickly and effectively to oversee a macro community in the millions
  • Serve as a liaison between brand team and key stakeholders and discern what information needs to be shared
  • Provide counsel to brand team on social channels including best practices and new channels for consideration
  • Track record of increasing brand affinity through social-led opportunities and trends
  • Experience working with high profile legacy brands with focus on engagement
  • Ability to work with larger IAT to represent social and how it ladders up to larger brand strategies
  • Spearhead social planning for the following year and remain nimble as brand priorities change
  • Basic creative background and knowledge to plan and ideate content and big ideas; lead the creative team to deliver work that aligns with client goals
  • Assess available creative assets and proactively recommend when new creative or assets are needed
Desired Qualifications
