Requirements
  • Must be a United States citizen and able to obtain and retain a United States Department of Defense Secret clearance.
  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
  • Have six years of experience in property books, logistics, or excess equipment management.
  • Have demonstrated experience using Global Combat Support System-Army, Property Book Unit Supply-Enhanced, Logistics Information Warehouse, SLAMIS, Logistics Modernization Initiative Decision Support Tool, Force Management System Web, and Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program.
  • Have experience drafting and presenting briefings for senior-level leadership.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Be available for occasional travel.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Life Cycle Management Command activities for Army National Guard Class II and Class VII materiel and resolve issues through available communication channels.
  • Coordinate with Army National Guard staff, states, territories, the District of Columbia, Army Materiel Command, Department of the Army, and Defense Logistics Agency regarding Class II and Class VII materiel in accordance with applicable statutory, regulatory, Department of Defense, Headquarters Department of the Army, and Army Materiel Command guidance and requirements.
  • Validate reported excess materiel using the Army National Guard G-4 end-of-hand database, Property Book Unit Supply-Enhanced, CIF-ISM, and other automated systems.
  • Provide input and develop functional programs of instruction, manuals, and guidance for Army National Guard Class II and Class VII materiel.
  • Research, analyze, identify, explain, and recommend resolutions for Class II and Class VII materiel issues to the section chief.
  • Review National Guard Bureau directives for compliance with statutory, regulatory, Department of Defense, and Department of the Army guidance, and notify the section chief of problems or deficiencies.
  • Coordinate Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment fielding requirements for states, Kentucky Logistics Operations Center, Program Executive Office Soldier, and mobilization sites using specified logistics systems.
  • Track shipments for ready-for-issue distribution and turn-in.
  • Identify excess property reporting requirements for Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment, provide excess status reports using CIF-ISM, and create Property Sales Documents in Logistics Modernization Initiative Decision Support Tool for excess inventory disposition.
  • Coordinate excess disposition instructions with the Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command Commodity Management Office.
  • Provide data analysis and recommendations for the MDEP ASOC Program Objective Memorandum requirements to the team lead in Microsoft Office documents.
  • Review, analyze, and track weekly and year-end funding execution reports, contact under-executing states for resolution, and report results to the team lead.
  • Collect and analyze annual expenditure plans for Central Issue Facilities, provide status reports in Microsoft Excel, and validate that spend plan numbers do not exceed projected or funded amounts.
  • Collect and analyze expenditure forecasts for Central Issue Facilities and provide the analysis to the team lead in Microsoft Excel.
  • Provide current and future on-hand authorizations to the team lead in Microsoft Word.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior military or Department of Defense civilian or contractor experience is preferred.

OBXtek appoints new President and CEO. OBXtek today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has appointed Aaron Drabkin as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 3, 2026. OBXtek awarded subcontract under MRATS program. OBXtek today announced that the Company was awarded a role as a subcontractor to Advanced Concepts Enterprises, Inc. (ACEs) under the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Mission Readiness and Training Support Services (MRATS) contract. AFSOC provides Air Force special operations forces for worldwide deployment and assignment to regional unified commands.
