  • Requires a J.D. with superior academic credentials from a nationally-recognized law school
  • three to six years' experience as a lawyer in a major law firm or in the legal department of a leading financial services organization

Responsibilities
  • support BlackRock’s US registered fund business
  • providing legal advice and consultation on a variety of legal, regulatory and compliance issues relating to the structuring, launch and distribution of US registered funds
  • ongoing product support
  • related regulatory reform and asset management services
  • manage business relationships and communicate regularly with management regarding legal, compliance and business issues/risks
  • focus on product development and distribution through third-party retail, technology enabled platforms and sub-advisory channels
