  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical studies with a minimum of five 5 years of U.S. Navy Surface Ship Combat Systems Engineering; or ten (10) years of experience in leu of degree
  • Experience in providing product development solutions and system prototyping on key military acquisition platforms to enhanced warfighter capabilities on surface combatants ships
  • Experience in the Agile Development Processes of combat systems assessments, certifications, risk reduction, interoperability, and test analysis.
  • Current and active Secret Security clearance
Responsibilities
  • Experience related to the identification, analysis and resolution of complex systems engineering issues involving the modernization and evolution of Navy weapon and combat systems
  • Familiarity with DoD/DON Policies and Procedures, as well as commercial hardware development and sustainment processes, related to systems engineering, development, sustainment, and system level testing
  • Participation in program management reviews and preparing and coordinating inputs for status reports, briefings and information inquiries
