Collections Specialist

Scope of Position:

Seamless.AI is looking for a Collections Specialist to join our growing Accounts Receivable team! This critical role will support the company’s growth and profitability by working directly to positively impact company retention rates. This is a high-growth, fast-moving company, and we need a vibrant, positive, highly competent and extremely detailed individual who thrives on challenges and is ready to be a part of a growing revenue recovery team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a high volume of interactions and working as a part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage caseload and recover revenue pertaining to failed and past due payments from clients. 
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team in bringing accounts into good standing.
• Respond promptly to all incoming requests from clients via email and phone.
• Maintain strong KPI’s regarding cases and revenue retention as set by the Controller and VP of Finance
• Calls, emails, and or sends letters of notification to clients who are overdue on invoices and pursues collection of payments. 
• Resolves escalated account and nonpayment disputes. 
• Adheres to all operational guidelines for calling on clients who have outstanding balances and liaisons with accounts receivable on matters of risk associated with those customers. 
• Records all documentation for received payments, and tracks those that are still outstanding. 
• May perform other accounting or accounts receivable tasks as assigned. 

Skillset:

• Performs work under general supervision 
• Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience level of comfort and confidence with high volume calls and emails
• Ability to maintain professionalism with the customers and be firm regarding payments due

Education & Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of related experience
