Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of diverse experience calling on large organizational customers and owning the relationship at the health system level.
  • Ability to develop and manage strategic partnerships, high-quality business-to-business relationships, and contractual agreements with high-value customers.
  • Expertise in brand and segment strategy and tactics, product knowledge, contracting and pricing platforms, membership management processes, and data transactions such as Electronic Data Interchange and Integrichain.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed sales and marketing objectives, financial and revenue targets, operational objectives, and key performance indicators within assigned National Health System customers.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships, business-to-business relationships, and contractual agreements with high-value customers.
  • Contribute to special projects that drive operational performance, process improvements, and business opportunities.
  • Educate internal stakeholders about complex National Accounts customer segments, including distributors and pharmacy purchasing networks.
  • Support the development of National Accounts sales and marketing strategies and tactics, field sales training and development, and business case development.
  • Serve as the primary lead for assigned National Health System customers.
  • Develop channel- and brand-aligned strategies, maintain high-value C-suite relationships, develop and negotiate contracts, and implement a team-selling model with National Accounts and field representatives.
  • Maintain connections with preferred group purchasing organizations and indirect channel partners, including wholesalers and distributors.
  • Document and continuously evaluate customer decision-making processes, external market influencers, trends, policies, mergers and acquisitions, legislation, payers, key opinion leaders, professional organizations, channel partners, and group purchasing organizations.
  • Apply customer knowledge and market insights to the Sanofi Vaccines selling model.
  • Develop understanding of distributor operations to assess, develop, and implement business processes, technology solutions, business rules, and reports.
  • Provide expert guidance for membership management across contract types.
  • Identify quantitative trends and create sales-driving insights from internal and external customer and market data.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans aligned with brand, segment, and customer goals.
  • Create plans to meet customer engagement metrics such as calls and contacts per day and reach and frequency.
  • Execute sales operations duties including contract performance management, membership management, and recording call activity.
  • Lead or support collaborative selling through communication, action-plan oversight, account targeting, and sharing customer and market insights with field sales and Commercial Operations.
  • Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and business partners across the organization to improve business results.
  • Communicate customer and market observations in written and verbal form in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance standards, complete compliance training, and follow corporate safety policies.

Altesa BioSciences wins award for oversubscribed $75M Series B to advance COPD therapies

Atlanta-based Altesa BioSciences has won the 2026 Georgia Life Sciences Golden Helix Award for Deal of the Year, recognising its oversubscribed $75 million Series B financing round. The funding, led by Forbion with participation from Sanofi, Medicxi, Pitango, and Atlantic Partners, will advance the clinical-stage pharmaceutical company's lead therapy, vapendavir. Vapendavir is an investigational oral treatment for chronic lung diseases including COPD and asthma. The drug is currently being evaluated in the Phase 2b CARDINAL trial, which will enrol 900 COPD patients across the US and UK. The Georgia Research Alliance Venture Fund was an early investor in Altesa. The company's scientific founders previously helped develop molnupiravir, one of the earliest COVID-19 treatments.

InduPro raises $77M Series B, doses first patient in Phase 1 trial of bispecific ADC for lung cancer

InduPro has closed a $77 million Series B financing round and dosed its first patient in a Phase 1 study of IDP-001, its lead oncology programme. The biotechnology company is developing IDP-001, a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate targeting EGFR and a novel tumour-associated proximity antigen, for treating advanced squamous non-small cell lung cancer and other solid tumours. The Column Group led the financing round, with participation from Vida Ventures, MRL Ventures Fund, Emerson Collective, Euclidean Capital, Solasta Ventures, Sanofi, and Eli Lilly and Company. Proceeds will support Phase 1 clinical development and early proof-of-concept data generation for IDP-001, whilst advancing InduPro's broader preclinical pipeline. InduPro uses a proximity-guided platform to map protein spatial relationships on cell surfaces for discovering selective co-target pairs.

Scribe Therapeutics prices upsized $129M IPO at top of range

Scribe Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing in vivo CRISPR technologies, has priced its upsized initial public offering at $15.00 per share, the high end of its range. The company is offering 8,580,000 shares, expecting to raise $128.7 million in gross proceeds before fees and expenses. Scribe has also granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,287,000 additional shares. The shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on 24 July 2026 under the ticker symbol "SCTX", with the offering closing on 27 July 2026. Additionally, Scribe has agreed to sell 500,000 shares at the same price to Sanofi in a concurrent private placement. Leerink Partners, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim Securities, and Wells Fargo Securities are serving as joint book-running managers.

Sanofi's Sarclisa Escena approved in US as first anticancer drug delivered via on-body injector

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved Sanofi's subcutaneous Sarclisa Escena for treating multiple myeloma, making it the first anticancer treatment administered through an on-body injector. The therapy uses Enable Injections' CirCLIQ device, which delivers the drug automatically with a retractable 30g needle. The approval was supported by the IRAKLIA phase 3 study, which demonstrated that Sarclisa Escena delivered via the on-body injector provided similar efficacy and safety compared to intravenous infusion, with significantly shorter treatment time and fewer infusion-related reactions. The study showed a 71.1% objective response rate in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. More than 70,000 patients worldwide have been treated with Sarclisa-based regimens. The on-body injector aims to reduce physical burden on healthcare providers whilst offering patients greater convenience during treatment.
