Database Administrator, Junior

That is why we need you, an experienced Business Database Administrator who can configure database dashboards, and develop detailed engagement reports, and provide high-quality support. 

As part of our team, you’ll serve as a strategic technical consultant to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society’s most challenging health problems. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies.  

You’ll serve as a Business Database Administrator helping clients to develop stakeholder management strategies, establish new business processes, and complete research and analysis to determine viable solutions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, facilitating engagements within offices and across the Agency, and is readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client’s mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission’s success. 

What You’ll Work On: 

• Configure HubSpot dashboards to track engagements  
• Develop engagement reports in HubSpot, Excel, or other formats 
• Develop training materials on HubSpot and database creation  
• Teach new users how to leverage database dashboards and platforms for engagements 
• Assist with development of slide decks for presentation to clients  
• Collaborate with team members to gather data from various sources 
• Interact with clients, government officials, and other executives in various sectors

You Have: 

• 10+ years of experience in database administration or marketing  
• Experience in HubSpot platform and optimizing use of such for clients 
• Experience interacting and communicating with senior-level executives, including SES or GS-15 
• Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
• Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced start-up environment 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
•  Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience with U.S. government health organizations
• Experience in marketing development and strategies preferred
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects effectively
• Ability to pay strict attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
