  • 6+ years designing games, emerging media, or AR/VR products including experience managing designers
  • 6+ years of leadership experience with direct reports, including hiring and developing managers or individual contributors
  • Strong portfolio/case studies that illustrate thought process for entire product life cycle and demonstrates how you've guided design decisions for AAA games, products, or Apps
  • Demonstrated experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to inform design decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple projects, and lead a cross functional team with an understanding of the relationships between different disciplines (Art, UX, Engineering, Production)
  • Passion and insights into the latest UI and UX trends on iOS, Android, Console, VR and AR
  • Proficiency in standard graphic media applications, such as Sketch, Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of secondary DCC tools such as After Effects, Maya, and Unity
  • Demonstrate a bias towards action with a show, don't tell approach. Build consensus through prototypes and demos or documenting with wireframes and comp
  • Ability to lead and inspire in a clear and focused manner
  • Experience growing a strategic design practice within design teams
  • Development experience in the video game industry for Console or Mobile products
  • Curiosity about the future, a passion for sports, and an understanding of baseball
  • Realtime production experience with Unreal or Unity3D
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant artistic skills
  • Drive collaboration and vision to develop a cohesive user experience across MLB Games and VR portfolio
  • Lead the product life cycle from pre-production, planning and research, to production and post launch content
  • Help shape the short and long-term product roadmap with an eye towards what's possible today and tomorrow
  • Work closely with MLB research to gather insights that identify pain points and strategies to improve the fan experience
  • Champion cohesive design consistency with an eye towards highly polished products
  • Work closely with Producers, Directors, and Stakeholders to establish scope/scale and estimates
  • Manage, mentor and lead Product Design team member to develop high quality work
