Position Summary:

As a full-stack Design Engineer at HeyGen, you’ll be part of the Innovation Team that report to and work with founders directly.
You will be at the forefront of AI product innovation by agile prototyping with excellent teammates based on real users feedback daily.
You will fully immerse yourself in the process of hypothesizing, iterating and validating AI PMFs (product-market fit) with significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the founders daily on talking to real users, analyzing products and markets to generate insights
• Conceive, prototype, and iterate new product ideas to validate hypothesis
• Collaborate efficiently within a multi-function team to deliver impact on daily basis
• Quickly bring new ideas to life through functional web prototypes
• Help drive the design-engineer process within the innovation team to ship these new ideas to users faster
• Invent new products by leveraging your technical background and passion for design
• Occasionally prototype on other platforms, including iOS/Android apps

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in fullstack web software development including frontend to backend.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, python or golang.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of API design and development.
