Machine Learning Engineer

Progressive Leasing is looking to hire a skilled Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer to join our team!

YOU ARE: As a Machine Learning Engineer (Remote), you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing MLOps architecture for real-time decisioning systems. We’re looking for someone who is committed to creating high-quality, stable, and fluid solutions that will be support Machine Learning and Data Science. This role is a work from home position and can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US. 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Play a critical lead role in the design and development of a cloud-based MLOps ecosystem to enhance analytics and modeling throughout all of PROG Holdings 

• Work closely with the Data Science Team to understand the requirements and impact of requested solutions 

• Support and improve existing platforms while advocating for best practices in code quality and software development 

• Work within a hybrid infrastructure (on prem, AWS,) to ensure robust, scalable solutions 

• Understand and partner with business stakeholders throughout the enterprise 

• Demonstrate a high sense of ownership and accountability for work produced  

YOU’LL BRING: 

• Advanced proficiency with Python, specifically with data manipulation and machine learning libraries (e.g. pandas, sklearn, pytorch, etc.) 

• 2+ years of experience in ML platform development using AWS, with specific experience in Sagemaker, and Snowflake 

• 1+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, e.g. Docker and Kubernetes 

• 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure As Code (IaC) and configuration management tools, e.g. Terraform or AWS CloudFormation

• 1+ years of experience with REST APIs and event driven architecture

• 1+ years of experience working within a CICD paradigm using tools such as CircleCI and

• Octopus

• 1+ years of experience using Agile tools such as Jira

• Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects in a rapidly changing environment/scope

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

• Experience with C# and .Net Core

• Experience with R

• Experience with a variety of technologies such as Github, Artifactory, and Mend
