Requirements
  • 2-3 years of industry experience, ideally in an agency setting
  • Experience delivering programs in public relations, marketing, or communications with background in digital and social media, materials development, media relations, and partnership outreach
  • Proficient in media writing and pitching experience with a proven track record of successful media outreach and a network of relationships with top tier media contacts
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Has project management skills; able to manage multiple parties to complete tasks and deliver quality outcomes for projects
  • Willingness to take on complex challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Supports the team with day-to-day client interaction
  • Plays a major role in the research, planning, and development of comprehensive Communications Marketing campaigns
  • Helps to track budgets and scopes, assessing estimates to actuals & managing changes as needed
  • Coordinate team meetings and client presentations
  • Be the organizational center of projects
  • Challenges the status-quo seeking alternate approaches to developing solutions and strategies
  • Researching, writing, and helping to develop communications plans, campaign materials including brochures, videos, web copy, social media, and memos
  • Assists with media relations efforts and partnership outreach
  • Manages client objectives, expectations and timelines and communicating changes/directions to internal team members
  • Oversees quality and operational performance of accounts, ensuring work quality and deadline adherence
  • Demonstrates proficiency in writing skills to craft internal and client correspondence, communications plans, press materials, new business proposals, etc
  • Demonstrates tactical proficiency in creating and driving outreach plans, message development, management of events, growth of contact network and effective pitching and training of spokespersons on speeches and presentations
