Requirements
- Carpentry proficiency including partition framing metal/wood studs, installation of basic cabinetry and countertops, installation of doors and windows
- Painting proficiency for interior and exterior surfaces
- Flooring installation including vinyl composition tile, luxury vinyl tile, tile, carpet squares and cove base
- Basic knowledge of plumbing including replacement/installation of sinks, faucets, toilets and basic drainage and water lines (licensed plumbers encouraged to apply)
- Electrical knowledge including replacement/installation of light fixtures, switches and outlets, basic data connections, and diagnosing minor electrical problems (licensed electricians encouraged to apply)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements
- Presentable appearance and ability to communicate with customers to build relationships
- Attention to detail in repairs including measurements, photographs, recommendations for repairs, and quotes
- Ability to work overtime and/or on-call as workload or emergency issues dictate
- Willingness and ability to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed
- Supply basic construction hand tools
- OSHA 10-hour certification or completion within 3 months of employment (employer-paid)
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial renovations and build-outs
- Follow OSHA requirements in job execution
- Communicate with customers to build relationships and present professional service
- Maintain detailed records for repairs including measurements, photographs, recommendations, and quotes
- Work overtime and/or on-call as workload or emergency issues dictate
- Travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed
