Fitness Instructor

Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and certified Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team at our premier fitness center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you'll inspire and guide our diverse member community toward achieving their fitness goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer care. As a Fitness Instructor, you'll be instrumental in creating an inclusive, motivating environment where members feel supported and empowered throughout their fitness journey.

• Design and deliver engaging group fitness classes tailored to various fitness levels and modalities (strength training, cardio, flexibility, functional fitness, etc.)
• Assess individual member fitness levels, goals, and limitations to create customized workout programs and modifications
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and form to ensure member safety and maximize workout effectiveness
• Provide motivational coaching and constructive feedback to help members stay committed to their fitness objectives
• Monitor member progress and adjust programs accordingly to ensure continued improvement and goal achievement
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment with properly functioning equipment
• Educate members on proper equipment usage, gym policies, and safety protocols
• Build strong relationships with members through excellent customer service and personalized attention
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate class schedules, special events, and member engagement initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of member progress, attendance, and program modifications
• Stay current with fitness trends, industry best practices, and continuing education opportunities
• Respond professionally to member inquiries and concerns with empathy and transparency
• Assist with member onboarding and orientation to gym facilities and services
• Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned

Qualifications

• Cooperate and comply with Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in regards to OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
• Take  reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, enviroment and others at work.
• Do not adversely interfere with anything provided for OSH
• Do not interfere adversely with anything in place to control OSH risks.
• Cooperate with organization with respect to acions and or action taken to protect the employee/ OSH requirments.
• Follow OSHMS procedures as applicable.
• Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and take part in OSH consulative OSH requirements.
• Report all near miss/ hazard/ unsafe/ conditions or act.
• Use appropriate PPE and safety syatems
• Be familiers with emergency and evacuation procesures.
• Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis.
• Maintan all OSHMS records as required by the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Held accountable and committed whatever it takes to comply with the company’s OSHMS Policies, OSHMS
  Procedure, & Operational Works Instruction and any other relevant legislation applies within the organization.
• Held accountable to take care of his own health and safety, other person in the workplace that may be affected by their acts or omission at work.
