Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts, including analytics warehousing, data processing, data transformation, data governance, data migrations, extract, transform, and load (ETL), extract, load, and transform (ELT), Structured Query Language (SQL), Apache Spark, performance or scalability optimization, and batch versus streaming.
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience using programming languages such as Python, Apache Spark, and Structured Query Language (SQL) to demonstrate, prototype, or workshop with customers.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the technical win for complex Data Analytics workloads, supporting the sales cycle from use-case identification and technical evaluation through customer ramp and adoption.
  • Combine sales strategies with direct development and prototyping to provide functional, customer-tailored solutions that secure buy-in from customer domain experts.
  • Provide deep technical consultation to customers as a technical advisor and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Leverage learnings from customer engagements to contribute reusable solutions and assets with the Go-To-Market team.
  • Provide feedback from customer engagements to Product and Engineering teams to improve architectures and solutions.
  • Document, prioritize, and drive resolution of customer feature requests and issues within Product and Engineering management systems.
  • Partner with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud and accelerate technical wins and adoption of complex, specialized workloads.
  • Design data foundation architectures and develop minimum viable products (MVPs) to promote specialized solutions to customers.
  • Solve analytics-centered customer issues, provide a feedback loop to unblock customers, and influence product development.
  • Understand customers' business and technical requirements and persuasively present practical solutions on Google Cloud.
  • Blend sales expertise, market knowledge, and direct technical engagement to demonstrate the value of the Google Cloud portfolio.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, data analytics, and Big Data.
  • Experience developing data warehouses, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing, streaming, data processing using ETL or ELT, data migrations, data visualization tools, and data governance on cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with architecture design, implementation, tuning, schema design, and query optimization of scalable and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud computing infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data, as well as the cloud market, engagement dynamics, and customer buying behavior.
  • Understanding customer requirements and the ability to break down requirements and design technical architectures.
