Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in Quality & Reliability management
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering or related scientific field
  • Masters Degree strongly preferred; but not required
  • Ability to deliver consistent results in a fast paced, “roll up your sleeve” environment
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and construction processes
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse skills and positions in the company and out - from the individual employee to senior management
  • Experience in quality standards and processes to follow internal audits, federal, state, and local regulations
  • Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to collaborate and get buy-in of the organization in an effective way
  • Travel - Job requires travel across company operational sites (~25%) and for suppliers quality audits
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) that integrates policies, processes and methods to inspect, test, and validate incoming material, design practices, product and production processes
  • Collaborate with the management team across the company to set quality benchmarks
  • Track and monitor the production flow throughout the manufacturing process from design phase to site installation, to guarantee the highest quality product
  • Ensure high quality documentation based on the latest industry standards
  • Implement QA/QC procedures and manage QC processes across the organization including incoming and outgoing inspections and QC in process, establish data driven methods and tools to evaluate COPQ (Cost Of Poor Quality)
  • Analyze quality data and issue corrective actions and process improvements
  • Represent the company in discussions and reviews with customers and regulators related to the company products and services as it comes to all quality aspects
  • Develop, implement and communicate a clear strategic vision for quality to maximize employee alignment and engagement, and performance
  • Maintain a strong independent but collaborative role as it relates to compliance-related decisions
  • Provide technical direction and support with respect to all aspects of the Company's business compliance activities
  • Ensure all QC systems in all locations are in full compliance with regulatory requirements and are aligned with Company QC policies and programs
  • Ensure all QA responsibilities including training, internal audits, investigations, complaints, fabrication oversight, etc. are implemented and maintained in compliance with all Company QA/QC policies and programs
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement of quality procedures. All processes and products must meet high internal standards and regulatory requirements and ultimately deliver high-quality, cost-effective products to the customer
  • Be responsible for MTBF Calculation(s)
