Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent, including a minimum of 36 semester hours in biology and physical sciences, and up to and including one year of related work experience.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist, such as MT (ASCP) or certification from a comparable agency approved by the National Commission for Health Certifying Agencies, is required within two years of the date of hire; certification must be maintained through ASCP or a comparable approved agency when applicable.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or obtain an approved medical or personal exemption by signing the required statement after hire.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diversified duties within and in support of the assigned laboratory section, including routine and complex analysis, to produce quality and timely patient analysis that aids in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and contributes to the efficiency and growth of the hospital.
