Requirements
  • 5+ years of infrastructure software engineering experience, specializing in Kubernetes, Istio, Security, and Network, and public cloud providers like Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Highly technical, able to participate in technical design.
  • Experience on core infrastructure, or platform engineering teams. Subject matter expert in an infrastructure domain.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
  • Expertise in distributed systems, and experience designing large-scale distributed systems that are scalable, reliable, and with high performance.
  • Experience in Golang development.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate a global infrastructure network platform that powers all CSS software systems. Implement enhancements to existing systems.
  • Maintain and operate the Istio service mesh of all CSS microservices across tens of Kubernetes clusters in multiple cloud providers.
  • Operate and develop various egress and ingress solutions for CSS services.
  • Design fault-tolerant architectural systems that scale proportionally with business growth and can stand the test of time.
  • Write, debug, maintain, and test code in a high-velocity agile environment.
  • Work alongside other engineers and stakeholders to improve overall systems, availability, and SLO.
