The E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world’s most advanced aerospace products.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will build the world’s most advanced products. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers to radically improve processes. Your ideas will be recognized through prototyping and production. Further, you will have frequent opportunities to bring your ideas to life.
This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is based in Arlington, TX. In order to be successful in this role, you must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed. Occasional travel may be required as well.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assemble aerospace components
- Assist engineers with documenting processes
- Provide feedback on process design
- Train colleagues in assembly processes
- Support production and manufacturing
- Support set-up of research lab, may require moving equipment
What you will bring to this role:
- 5 years of experience in textiles, automotive, or aerospace
- Proficiency Operating automated work cells
- Experience with torque tools
- Textile assembly
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and curiosity
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to apply Lean and continuous improvement
Extra points for the following:
- Machine shop Experience – lathe, CNC, milling
- Robotics and automation experience
- Apply Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts
- Forklift and pallet jack operation experience
- Experience operating Gantries
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX office.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
