What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated research intern to join our team in developing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for advancing the state-of-the-art multi-modal large language models. As a research intern, you will have the opportunity to work on solving a challenging problem in image generation and language understanding

Location: Working onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters at least 4 days per week on Monday - Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

Reports to: Director of AI/ML Software Engineering

Develop algorithms to advance research in multi-modal large language models.
Implement and validate the algorithms in various scenarios and hardware environments.
Conduct a literature survey on related work.
Build baselines and related technologies for evaluation.
Prepare written reports and oral presentation on the progress.
Publish the algorithms and results in top-tier conferences in machine learning.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

Pursuing Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
Strong research experience in machine learning, computer vision, and/or natural language processing.
Experience in open-source deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
Experience in one or more of the following: multi-modal large language models, generative foundation models, image generation, image editing.
Publications in top-tier conferences (ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, etc.).
