Requirements
  • First Aid, CPR, AED, and BBP certified
  • 3+ years working in frontline operations for heavy manufacturing, construction, or emergency services
  • 3+ years experience working in EHS
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts
  • Comfortable using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Experience performing JHAs and field inspections
  • Experienced and comfortable delivering training of EHS topics
Responsibilities
  • Develop partnerships and collaborate with frontline operations personnel such as welders, technicians, and operations specialists
  • Conduct field inspections and risk assessments related to frontline technician jobs/tasks in factory, launch, or test sites
  • Guide and assist operations personnel with reporting incidents, injuries, and root cause analysis
  • Conduct hands-on EHS training for front-line operations such as LOTO, Confined Spaces, Fall Protection, forklifts, and aerial lifts
  • Inspect and maintain hazardous waste including lineside, satellite, and central waste accumulation areas
  • Conduct environmental emissions and waste sampling per environmental permit requirements
  • Conduct industrial hygiene noise/air samples
  • Support spill response and prevention initiatives per SPCC plan requirements
  • Support EHS policy/program enforcement in factory, launch, or test sites
