Responsibilities
  • Develops and manages the plan surrounding PS project/program engagements.
  • Sets realistic and practical goals for projects/programs while developing appropriate strategies for achieving those goals.
  • Documents communications, risks, and issues thoroughly and professionally.
  • Utilizes best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project/program execution.
  • Coaches, mentors, and motivates team members within the People Services department.
  • To be the HR business consultant for assigned business segments, proactively consulting and partnering with other HR specialists as required (e.g., recruitment, training) to deliver programs, policies and activities that directly contribute to the effectiveness of the business.
  • Ensure that associate change management plans are in place for business change initiatives.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to associates and managers for associate relations issues.
  • Manage high risk associate relations matters including: harassment investigations, escalations, law suits, EEOC claims.
  • Proactively consult with management on raising associate engagement and assisting with action items as required.
  • Review and recommend any necessary changes to People Services policies and procedures and complete additional research as required.
  • Model good managerial practices and ensure associate information is kept confidential at all times.
  • Provide support for terminations and all related documentation and administration.
