Under general supervision, responsible for providing journey-level skills in the repair and maintenance of equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety requirements and procedures.
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:45am-4:15pm

- Ability to perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
LICENSES:
- Valid Texas driver's license is required - must have clean driving record.
This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.
- Repairs/maintains machinery and mechanical equipment to include motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners and other parts.
- Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble and disassembles to repair or replace broken parts.
- Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
- Maintains machinery and mechanical equipment in working order to include cleaning/lubricating parts, ordering replacement parts and inspecting completed repairs.
- Assists with maintaining inventory to include requisitioning new parts and equipment.
- Completes installation of equipment and building systems.
- Assists trade personnel or hired contractors in the performance of duties in designated areas.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
