Requirements
  • A state apprentice license is required if required by the state.
  • Familiarity with current National Electrical Code codes is required.
  • Experience installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial or industrial environments is required.
  • The candidate must be able to troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems.
  • The candidate must own basic hand tools for electrical work.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • The candidate must be able to pass a drug screening.
  • The candidate must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The candidate must use manual dexterity and hand tools.
  • The candidate must operate safely on ladders and elevated platforms.
  • The candidate must follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • The candidate must work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Read blueprints and wiring schematics to execute tasks accurately.
  • Bend pipe, pull wire, run conduit, and install outlets and fixtures.
  • Coordinate with other trades on job sites to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment with safety as a priority.
  • Participate in company training programs to stay current with evolving code and technology.
  • Follow detailed instructions and maintain a high standard of craftsmanship.
  • Represent Nextech professionally at each work site.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of commercial electrical experience is preferred.
