  • Production software development experiences with strong programming skills in C/C++
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture, operating systems and software development, in particular GPU architectures, assembly code, and instructions
  • Python and other scripting skills for automating the workflow
  • Experience with OpenCL and CUDA
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing highly optimized software libraries, tools, and APIs for real-time computer graphics and general purpose computing
  • Collaborating with hardware engineers to review the spec and verify correctness and efficiency of the implementation
  • In communication with game studios, critically analyze current real-time rendering, content creation pipelines, and AI technology to find areas for new development
  • Analyze runtime performance data collected from the application running on PlayStation hardware and report performance trade-offs to the team
  • Manage 2 existing software, emulating the GPU software and verifying the GPU instruction streams
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with DirectX, OpenGL, or other GPU programming frameworks (strongly preferred)
  • Experience developing GPU driver, API, and firmware
  • Familiarity in computer graphics and 3D rendering concepts: Ray tracing, Rasterization, Global Illumination, deferred shading
  • Experience working with deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras
  • Passionate about the gaming industry
