Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • An active Secret clearance is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
  • At least 2 years of directly relevant applications-development experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the secure software development lifecycle, code versioning, and software maintenance is required.
  • Experience assessing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf products is required.
  • Knowledge of installing, demonstrating, testing, validating, and evaluating new and existing software, tools, methods, and software measurement technologies is required.
  • Operational experience with Python and Linux terminals is required.
  • Knowledge of software automation, application development, and RESTful architecture is required.
  • Knowledge of data extract, transform, and load workflows for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments is required.
  • Experience developing with containerization software, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Redshift, is required.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, including Ansible, Git-CI, CloudFormation, and Terraform, is required.
  • Strong communication skills and experience interacting directly with customers in a project environment or technical demonstration are required.
  • The candidate must be able to work collaboratively across remote and physical locations.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering, or a high-school diploma with 4–6 years of directly relevant experience, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design, troubleshoot, and implement software code for end-to-end software development and service integrations.
  • Design, develop, enhance, debug, integrate, and implement software stacks for on-premises and cloud-based tools and services.
  • Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications and pipeline workflows.
  • Research, test, build, and coordinate the integration of new products based on user and mission requirements.
  • Initiate evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration tools, and testing tools.
  • Automate deployments, testing, and builds using infrastructure as code tools, including Ansible, Terraform, and Git-CI.
  • Implement recommendations for improving documentation and development process standards.
  • Ensure quality control of developed and modified prototype software through staged testing and pipelines.
  • Establish optimal configurations and tunings for commercial off-the-shelf, government off-the-shelf, and open-source technologies according to mission needs and project baselines.
  • Navigate and work within Linux and container-heavy environments, including OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AlmaLinux, and Docker.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with at least two of the following: Python, JSON, data analytics, MongoDB, MinIO, Ansible, Vue.js, React, HTML, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, OpenShift, Amazon Web Services, View Jazz Framework, process automation, and Terraform.
  • CSSLP certification.
  • Security+ certification.
  • TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
